Name:Luna
Description: Luna has a slender body and a white/gray pelt mix. She also has a few distinctive markings on her body. On her muzzle she has a few dark gray streaks going from her nose to right between her eyes. She has light pale blue eyes that seems to reflect her emotion and her front paws are pure white. Starting from the tip of her nose to the end of her tail is a gray streak, As it crosses along her back it blends into a much lighter gray as it flows down to her stomach. Luna has a white underbelly aswell as under her tail with the exception of the tip of her tail which is a dark gray. During the summer and/or spring her fur tends to turn a bit of a lighter color with a orange tinge to it. Her fur is mostly soft and sleek with a moderate roughness on the top of her back.
Age: 5 months
Personality:Luna is very energetic and loves to explore. Shes usually friendly and likes to play around, Going on hunts was always one of Luna's favorite activitys because as usual she makes a game out of it. Shes very good natured and trys to help out whenever she is needed. Although she may have a pup like exterior...she is also very protective of the ones who are close to her and never backs down from a fight. She's not exactly the fighting type though but is always willing if the time does come. Timid and shy around strangers she may be but that never lasts long once she gets to loosen up. Most nights she likes to stare out into the stars and moon and listen to the nightime sounds as the moon takes it's place in the sky. Speaking of that, she's not really a daytime kind of wolf but doesn't mind it that much.
Gender: Female
Breed: Timber
History: Luna was seperated from her birth pack at a very young age. She ran with a huge pack, both her parents were alpha's and controled the pack with a 'tight leash' so to speak but with respect. Her father was very protective and agressive, but had a kind side to him hidden to most wolves, And her mother was forgiving and gentle. There was times when both her parents had to put their lifes on the line for the protection of her pack because of the fact her pack had many rival packs or as they would call them, tratiors or also known as 'Blackbloods'.
She would usually play with the other pups in the pack along with my older brother, Koda. Since her parents were usually busy Koda watched after her most of the time which only tightend thier bond as brother and sister. One day somthing horrible happend that she cant forget.
It was a hot summer day when everyone was out on a hunting trip. The sun was beating down on Koda who was laying at the entrance of the den. The den was nothing more than a hollow cave at the base of a mountian. As usual Luna was to stay in the den and wait until someone came back. Eventually she got bored so she wandered past her sleeping brother outside and into the woods as she did many times before with her father. She didnt get far when she started to hear snarling and yelping coming back from then den. It seemed that one of the rival packs formed with another one to overthrow hers. She ran back as quickly as she could only to witness as her mother and father were being killed during the fight. Not only them but half..well...most of her pack as well...
At the end of the fight, the rest of her pack moved on but her brother stayed behind. He was hurt badly but cared for her and protected her for as long as he could. He always told me he wouldn't let anything happen to me as long as he was alive. Well...which wasnt long... He passed away when she was about 5 months old. She learned how to hunt and forage for food as she got a bit older. Luna became stronger and more independent. Alot of the time she would get hurt, beaten and came near to death as hunters tryed to kill her with all sorts of traps. Later on in life she learned not to trust just anyone or they would know your weaknesses and use it against you.
Sample RP Post: The ridge stood high, hovering over a freezing river below. Luna stood on its edge - she stood on edge, her heart threatened to leap into her throat and suffocate her. It was slippery beneath her paws, more so than she had initially expected. It had rained not too many moons ago and the water had quickly froze over. Luna sighed. The winds were calming, surprisingly for the first time in an long while, though still it blew against her fur making it stand on end. The nights full moon had given her strength enough clean herself, andnto finally to rid her haunches of clumps of mud and clean her fur of dirt and discoloration. It still wasn't enough to make her feel better - but it was something...
Luna's cold, pale blue eyes drifted down to her paws, dull white claws poking out above their sheaths, tempted to scrape the slippery surface of the ridge. She shifted her weight and closed her eyes, each exhale making a steam cloud against the cold night atmosphere. " Koda... you died here," She murmured, opening her eyes again to look over the flooded Creek. She wished she could see her brother one last time, alive, bright and glowing with the familiarity of the brave and stunning wolf she knew. Somewhere sat his water-logged carcass, though she wished to find him and give him a proper burial, she knew the sight would cast her into shaking sobs again.
"brother..." She repeated, flattening her ears and lowering her head. "what has become of me?" The young pup sighed as she looked back up again. One month ago, exactly, they would have still been together. Fighting their way through life in the pack lands, eventually leaving the pack on their journey to find their lost sister aspen whom had been taken by their father. All for nothing, for in the end, nothing was gained. Instead, one was lost. Lost on the search to find a wolf who was either dead, or probably didn't even exist, only a figment of their faded memory.
Luna's eyes shimmered with tears and drifted out over the water again. Her mind was buzzing with thoughts...memories. But she shook them away, nothing more than a damp stain on her face as she inhaled and exhaled deeply. She would gather her thoughts, and she would deal with this the right way rather than sit around and mope about it. She would honor her brother's death, it had been his time, his fate. She could not prevent, nor would she mourn what fate had decided for either of them. Luna stood up and stretched out on her forepaws. She trotted on the newly fallen snow heading for the forest ahead.
